In short - Yes.
You will need to register an account to be able to gain access to the Rival Craft Affiliate program.
Each reigistration needs to be approved by us and once approved you will recieve a confirmation email with your login details.
Once registered you can refer clients and earn commissions on their purchases. You can register by clicking the following link
During registration you will enter your email address and choose a password. Use these details to log into your account.

What's in my Affiliate control panel?
After you have been registered with the Rival Crafts Affiliate program you will recieve your Log in details. You can then Log into your own personal control panel, please see (How do I Log in?). Here you will find the following pages:
- Home – This is where you can see your Affiliate referral link and your earnings including the visitors you have referred, the orders made by them and the conversion.
- Profile –
Here you can enter your personal data.
- Info – This contains all the information you need for promoting links on websites and social media. You will find your affiliate link and the commission you will receive for every referred order.
- Link generator – Here you can create links to specific pages within www.rivalcrafts.co.uk, just paste the link, click on “Generate” and you will receive an affiliated link, which is ready to use.
An Affiliate Link – can be used/shared in social sites
The HTML code – is your affiliate link, but formatted for use in websites/blogs, it can not be shared in social sites.
- Orders – Here you can see all of your successfully referred customers purchases and your commission.
“Referring page” - is the page where the affiliated link was placed (and the customer clicked on it).
“Landing page” - is the page to which the customer was referred.
You can use both to see the performance of your different links.
- Payments – On this page you will find details of the payments, which the owner (Rival Crafts) has made and you have received.
- Banners – Here you will find your advertising banners, which are provided by Rival Crafts. You can paste them into your website to attract more customers. Just click on the green button “Get HTML code” and your HTML code for that banner and your affiliated link will be generated.
How do I refer customers?
Once you have completed the registration process to become an Affiliate of Rival Crafts you will be able to login to your own control panel. Here you will find your Affiliate link and a selection of banners for you to use when promoting Rival Crafts to new customers. Your link is unique to you and can be shared on your own personal website or on most social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook and twitter etc.
Once you have shared your link, if it is clicked and the user completes a purchase from the Rival Crafts store you will recieve a commission for referring the customer.
What are the commission % rates?
Affiliates earn 10% of any purchase they have referred as standard. We also offer the following tiered commission rates based on your per monthly total referred sales.
Tier 1 Standard - Total sales amount £0.00 to £250.00 = 10.00%
For every referred sale up to £250.00 of referred sales in one calendar month you will earn 10% commission
Tier 2 Silver - Total sales amount £250.00 to £500.00 = 12.00%
For every referred sale after £250.00 and up to £500.00 of referred sales in one calendar month you will earn 12% commission
Tier 3 Gold - Total sales amount £500.00 plus = 15.00%
For every referred sale after £500.00 of referred sales in one calendar month you will earn 15% commission
At the end of each calendar month your commission rate will reset to 10%
In what currency are commissions calculated?
All commission rates are calculated in £ sterling
Paypal payments will be made in £ sterling to U.K residents.
International payments are made via paypal and the currency is converted from £ sterling to your countries currency.
What is the minimum default payment?
The minimum payout amount is £10.00 GBP.
If you selected Paypal as your preferred method of payment
Your commission is calculated at the end of each calendar month and you will receive whatever commission you have earned for that calendar month within 7 days.
The reason it can take up to 7 days to receive your calculated payment for any one month is because we have to allow for any product returns and for processing refunds to customers which would have an affect on the amount of commission you are due.
If you selected Gift Card as your preferred method of payment
You will automatically receive a Gift Card code via email every time you reach the minimum payout amount of £10.00
Rival Crafts currently offers Paypal or store Gift Cards as methods of receiving your payouts.

- Money due to you is paid into your paypal / bank account
Gift Cards
- You will receive a store Gift Card code via email every time you reach the minimum payout amount. This can be redeemed at checkout when you shop at Rival Crafts, only one code can be used per transaction.
What is the default cookie duration?
Cookies last for 30 days once an affiliate link has been clicked by a potential customer. This means that the potential customer has 30 days to complete a purchase from the Rival Crafts store and the Affiliate will still earn a commission.
When you refer a potential new customer, the affiliate program sets a browser cookie for that user. Even if they close the browser and do not make a purchase right away, but return in the future (in the time of the cookie duration, in this case, 30 days) and make a purchase, that purchase will be associated with your account.
What is Affiliatly?
Affiliatly is the third party Affiliate tracking service used by Rival Crafts to help track, manage, calculate and pay Affiliates.
How does Affiliatly track Affiliates?
Tracking is achieved by using link clicks and browser cookies.
Affiliatly tracks users that were referred to Rival Crafts through an Affiliate link you've shared.
When a user clicks on an Affiliate link a cookie is stored on the user’s computer so the program knows that this is an Affiliate referred user even if the user doesn't make an order right away (cookies are stored for 30 days by default).
When a user completes a purchase in the Rival Crafts store, Affiliatly checks if this customer has a cookie, i.e. its a customer referred by an Affiliate. If so, it adds the order to the database for the Affiliate who referred the user.
How are Affiliate earnings worked out?
Affiliates earn commission on the net revenue of completed sales. This is the total amount of the order value minus shipping fees, payment processing fees, discounts applied and any tax amount (if applicable) made from referred users.
How do I promote my Affiliate link?
You can share it wherever you want, to potential customers, clients, friends or family members.
Post about it in your blog.
Add it to your own website with Rival Crafts banners and promotional media such as product pictures etc.
Social media is a brilliant way to promote your Affiliate link, set up advertisements, social media, and email campaigns.

Some of my orders are not listed!
You will only see orders with the status "Paid".
When an order is added to our databases, by default it is marked with the status "Not Paid".
Later when payment has been recieved for this order its status is changed to "Paid".
The affiliate will now see that order appear in their Affiliate panel. This feature is in place to deter fraud.
Why didn't I recieve all of my commission?
We have a very high standard of customer support and do our best to provide our customers with a resolution incase there are any problems with their order. Although we have a very low return and refund rate, occasionally we may need to refund the customer for part or all of their order, this can happen if they change their mind and want to return an item. If this happens, any commission applied to that order will be subtracted accordingly.
Do I need to sign an Affiliate Agreement?
There is no paper copy of an Affiliate Agreement to sign.
When registering for the Rival Crafts Affiliate program you will be asked to tick a box to confirm that you have read and agree to the Rival Crafts Affiliate Agreement / Terms and Conditions, Privacy and Cookie Policies. By ticking the box and completing the registration process you are entering into a contract with Rival Crafts to become an Affiliate subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Affiliate Agreement.
